Extreme/ Close up 

This is a close up/ extreme close up shot, which is used to emphases detail.


The marco lens is very useful for taking close up to extreme close up.

Medium Close up 

Medium close up are close up; however they are zoomed out more and cut off mainly at shoulders. 

Standard lens is a good lens for medium close up. 

Wide Shot 

A wide shot is a shot that shows the whole object or human figure, in film it can be used to set the digesis.

Duncan Philpott specialises in sport/landscape photography. In the image above it is very catchy as it emphasises the movement of the image due to the photography element, shallow depth of field. This image is composed very well as the bicker is more to the higher left of the image, which allows the viewer to track his movement. The image is very colourful with its hard-hitting red green and yellow colours that collaborate together to create a feeling of adrenaline.
